Steady
Terms and Conditions
Last updated: September 9, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Steady website and app ("Steady"). By using Steady, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
General wellness only. Not medical advice.
Steady is intended to support personal wellness tracking and provide general information. It is not intended to provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, or to replace the advice, judgment, or care of any qualified medical professional.
Always seek advice from your physician or another qualified healthcare professional about a medical condition, symptoms, or changes to your diet, exercise, rehabilitation, or treatment. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read, record, or receive through Steady.
Do not start, stop, or change medication or a prescribed treatment based on Steady. Your healthcare professional’s instructions take priority over any goals, suggestions, summaries, or plans shown in the app.
1. No clinical care or emergency service
Using Steady does not establish a clinician–patient relationship. Steady is not an emergency service, and entering or importing symptoms or measurements does not mean a healthcare professional is reviewing them. Do not rely on the app to detect a medical problem or alert someone on your behalf.
If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately (911 in the United States). Do not wait for an app response.
2. Information, estimates, and personal goals
Meal information, calorie estimates, activity suggestions, adaptive plans, trends, and other outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your circumstances. Personalized displays do not constitute a clinical assessment. Steady does not guarantee any particular health, weight, fitness, or recovery outcome.
Use activities within your abilities and follow any restrictions given by your healthcare professional. Stop an activity that causes pain or concerning symptoms and seek appropriate professional advice.
3. Connected devices and health records
FatSecret food search is optional. By using it, you agree to the fatsecret Platform API Terms of Use. Search text and selected food IDs are sent to FatSecret; your MyChart records and other wellness logs are not sent as part of this search. Steady retains food and serving references, your quantity and logging date. Food names and nutrition are requested when displayed, can change, and may be unavailable during service interruptions. Downloads contain references instead of FatSecret nutrition values. FatSecret information is for food logging, not diet, nutrition or health advice, diagnosis, or a substitute for physician consultation.

Optional connections to devices, iHealth, MyChart, or other services depend on the availability and permissions of those providers. Imported data may be delayed, incomplete, duplicated, or incorrect. Verify important readings and records with the original device, source service, or healthcare professional before relying on them.
Displaying a medical record or device reading in Steady does not mean Steady has independently verified or clinically interpreted it. Follow the device manufacturer’s instructions. Third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices, and their availability or compatibility may change.
4. Your account and responsible use
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for information you enter. Use only accounts and records you are authorized to access. Do not use Steady unlawfully, access another person’s account without permission, interfere with the service, or attempt to bypass its security measures.
You retain ownership of the information you provide. These terms do not give Steady ownership of your health records and do not replace any separate authorization requested when connecting an external account.
5. Availability and warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Steady is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or achievement of a particular result. Features may change or become unavailable. Keep independent copies of information important to you; Steady should not be your only medical record.
6. Limitations and your legal rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Steady and its operators are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits rights and remedies you have under applicable consumer protection law.
7. Changes and ending use
These terms may be updated as the service changes. The current version and its update date will appear on this page. Any additional notice or consent required by applicable law will be provided. You may stop using Steady at any time. Access may be restricted where necessary to address misuse, security concerns, or legal requirements.
